Goochland Middle School Presents: Rising 6th Family Night! Current 5th-grade families are invited to join the GMS counseling and admin team to learn more about life in middle school Wednesday, May 24TH, 2023 from 6:00-7:30

Tonight is the night! Goochland Schools' Health & Wellness Night starts at 5 p.m. and is at the Goochland High School stadium. It includes a 1-mile fun run, food, games, door prizes, and a chance to connect with many community organizations. Come join us!

Today is National School Nurse Day! Please join us in celebrating Nurse Usry (RES), Nurse Toney (GES), Nurse Britton (BES), Nurse Mullins (GMS), and Nurse Duffey (GHS) not only today but at every opportunity throughout the year!

Randolph, Goochland Elementary, and Byrd Elementary fifth graders visited our Career and Workforce Development Center and learned about some of our CTE programs, including nursing, heavy equipment, building trades, and culinary arts!

We also recognized many outstanding employees at our Celebration of Excellence in addition to our Teachers of the Year. Congratulations to our Rookies of the Year, Team of the Year, Employee of the Year, Volunteer of the Year, and retirees!




Tonight, at our Celebration of Excellence, we recognized our Teachers of the Year and formally announced our District Teacher of the Year. Congratulations to all of our Teachers of the Year and to Mrs. Megan Proffitt, our Division Teacher of the Year!


Byrd Elementary's Boys on the Move Program concluded today with a 5k celebration. The Boys on the Move Program included 29 boys, 8 adult mentors, 2 student mentors, and hundreds of smiles!
