The YMCA Board Meeting held at GHS this morning was a great success!
The partnership between GCPS and the YMCA continues to strengthen, and today's discussions were focused on enhancing programs that benefit our students and the entire community. Thank you to everyone who participated and contributed to this important dialogue.

The deadline to submit your bus request is TODAY: Friday, August 2, 2024. After the deadline, the GCPS transportation department will pause all alternate requests (families with different pick up/drop off locations).
If you miss the deadline your request will not be considered and will need to wait until Sept 1. This deadline is critical for the release of bus schedules. GCPS hopes to post them by August 7.
You must submit a request if:
-- You did not ride 23/24
-- Moved
-- Need an alternate request (After Aug 2, 2024, the requests will resume Sept 1. )
-- Need to secure a seat due to sports

It’s Time! Join us TONIGHT as we officially open the NEW Goochland Elementary School! Ribbon-cutting starts at 4 p.m. and tours of the school will be until 7 p.m. The school is located at 2000 Bulldog Way.
We’re otterly excited to open the new school and share it with our community! Visit the school any time between 4 and 7 p.m., and consider joining us at the official Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony at 4 p.m. The school is located at 2000 Bulldog Way.
