VectorSolutions, Vector Alert - Goochland County Public Schools Report It

Dear Parents,

Goochland County Public Schools utilizes the SafeSchools alerts system to provide a
free, anonymous, and convenient way to communicate information or concerns related
to school safety and bullying. Please see the attached letter with highlights about the
SafeSchools alert system.

We encourage any community member, student, or parent to directly inform school
personnel as soon as possible in the event of any concern related to school safety,
including threats or bullying. Our school principals and assistant principals are available
by phone or email, and you can also contact the Goochland County Public Schools
central office at 804-556-5630 to be directed to the appropriate personnel to address
your concern. Contact information for individual schools can be found at the
Goochland County Public Schools website.

In the event that anyone wishes to provide anonymous information using the

SafeSchools alert system, please do any of the following:

All of these methods will create alerts that will be delivered to the appropriate school personnel, who will respond to the concern in a timely fashion. In the event that the concern represents an urgent issue that needs to be addressed immediately, contact the Goochland Sheriff’s Office at 9-1-1.

Providing safe learning environments for all students is a shared responsibility among all families, GCPS staff, and community agencies, and communication is key. We appreciate your support, and please contact me directly with any questions or concerns.

Sincerely,

Andrew R. Armstrong, Ph.D., Assistant Superintendent of Administration
