🎉🏆 CONGRATULATIONS to The GES Archy-Otter-Gists! 🏆🎉
Our amazing Fourth and Fifth Grade Lego Robotics team competed yesterday at the Glen Allen Regional Qualifier and made quite a splash! 🦦💛
We are thrilled to share that our team brought home:
🏅 1st Place – Robot Performance Award
🎭 Judges Award – Thespian
Their hard work, creativity, and teamwork over the past three months truly paid off. The Archy-Otter-Gists represented GES with confidence, kindness, and otter-ific spirit!

Our students have worked incredibly hard over the last 3 months designing, building, coding, and problem-solving together. Thursday evening they shared with their families.
Today, they get to show off their amazing skills! They’ll be competing and sharing their talents TODAY at Deep Run High School from 12:45–2:00 PM.
We are SO proud of their teamwork, creativity, and otter-ific ingenuity! 🦦✨

This fall, students at all three of our elementary schools have been building confidence, teamwork, and perseverance through the Girls on the Run program. Last week, our teams completed a “practice 5K” at their schools in preparation for the big event — a regional 5K taking place this weekend with Girls on the Run teams from across the area.
We’re so proud of these girls and their coaches for all of their hard work and dedication! 💪💜

Our Goochland Elementary 3rd graders just finished the 6-week Teaching Kindness program with Goochland Pet Lovers. Over the past six weeks, students learned how to safely meet a dog, what shelter animals need to feel safe, how to care for pets responsibly, and how kindness and empathy impact both animals and our community.
During our trip to the animal shelter, students saw those lessons in action and met some very sweet adoptable friends! 🐾💛🦦

🎉🕺💖 Our kindergarteners are rockin’ and rollin’ — it’s the 50th day of school! 💖🕺🎉
We had a fab-u-lous time celebrating 50 days of learning in true ’50s style — poodle skirts, leather jackets, and all! Our youngest Otters have adjusted beautifully to school routines and are cruising right along. We can’t wait to see how much they’ll continue to grow and learn this year! 🌟
