🌍✨ What a wildly wonderful day for our 5th graders at Bear Creek! 🐾 To celebrate Earth Day, students went on an outdoor adventure filled with learning and discovery. They explored geocaching, participated in a migration simulation, met with Conservation Police Officers, and even did a bit of hiking through the beautiful trails! 🧭👮‍♂️🥾 It was the perfect blend of fun, nature, and environmental education — a day we won’t forget! 💚🌳

🌾🐄 GCPS 4th graders had a blast at Ag Day! What started as Erin Henley’s senior project in 2008 has grown into a beloved tradition, connecting students to the heart of our agricultural community. From farm equipment and baby calves 🐮 to bees 🐝, goats 🐐, chickens 🐓, and homemade ice cream 🍦—our kids learned firsthand how agriculture touches every part of our lives. Huge thanks to our local farmers, FFA & 4H members, Virginia Cooperative Extension, Manakin Soil, and so many others who made this day hands-on, educational, and unforgettable! 💚🌱
