February is Career and Technical Education Month!

Goochland County Public Schools is proud to join schools across the nation in celebrating Career and Technical Education (CTE) Month this February! Governor Youngkin has officially designated February 2025 as CTE Month in Virginia, recognizing the achievements and impact of CTE programs in preparing students for the workforce and higher education.

The national theme for 2025, "Celebrate Today, Own Tomorrow!", highlights the importance of equipping students with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in an ever-evolving job market. CTE programs provide hands-on learning, industry certifications, and real-world experiences that empower students to build bright futures in a wide range of career fields.

We invite our school community to join us in celebrating CTE Month by recognizing the dedication of our students, teachers, and industry partners who make these programs possible. Learn more about CTE Month and its impact by reading Governor Youngkin's proclamation and visiting the Association for Career and Technical Education (ACTE) website.
